Another fun Monday night at Blu

Another strong week with great performances by our competing DJ's. It was a tough call having to choose, Fat Sam threw down a SOLID set with some great jams. He definitely kept the dance floor going, but JJ Thomas came through with a very solid set as well and took the night in our opinions.

Congrats to JJ, he will be joining us for the finals taking place on the 25th of October. Winner of that night will be invited to play our Freakers Ball with a paid headlining spot in Blu nightclub that night..

Week one of Battle of the DJ's went well with a victory by DJ Mener from Reno.

Solid performances by all the DJ's who performed! Thanks to DJ's: Mynx, Ezzkid, Fat Sam, and Mener for coming out and playing, a good time was had by all!

Finals of the contest will be held on October 25th, with all weekly winners heading up the competition for a paid gig at the annual Freakers Ball on October 30th. Freakers Ball consists of a 3 massive venue's inside Montbleu's Opal Ultralounge, Blu Nightclub, and Convention center, making this Tahoe's biggest annual Halloween event.

Battle of the DJ's - Monday Nights at BLU

Starting this Monday and every Monday, Blu nightclub presents "Battle of the DJ's"!

DJ's, this is your chance to strut your style on a massive EAW Avalon system and compete for a paid headlining slot at our annual Freakers Ball Halloween event! There will be tons of swag giveaways for our competitors and it falls on our favorite night of the week, $1 Drink Mondays!

Any style of Dance Music is acceptable, we want to see you rock the crowd! So keep in mind we will be judging on all aspects from skill, to crowd reaction.. Please come prepared to play anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Sets will be judged by myself, the management, and from what we hear from the crowd.
